About Me

I’m Caro — Argentinian living in Belgium, mother to a teenage boy, wife to a Dutchman.

Engineer, MBA, and project manager in the tech world by day; travel lover and Tourism graduate by heart.

As the founder and curator of Nariva Travel, I combine my love for authentic experiences with a passion for thoughtful planning.

Balancing family life and a career, I understand the importance of carving out time to reconnect, recharge, and explore — and I’m dedicated to creating soulful journeys that help you do just that.

Why I Travel This Way

Travel has been a constant in my life — but not just as a way to see the world. For me, it’s always been a way to come back to myself.

I’ve traveled with my husband and my son — and while they enjoy a slower, more laid-back rhythm (preferably near a pool!), I’m the one who’s up early, map in hand, ready to walk, discover, and listen to the stories a place has to tell.

I’ve also traveled alone — and while there’s something powerful about solo adventures, I often find myself wishing I could share the moment. A perfect bite of food. A breathtaking view. A quirky detail from a guide. I always think, “This would be even better with a group of curious, like-minded women.”

That’s how I love to travel most: in good company, with women who are open, thoughtful, and ready to experience something real together.

That’s what I set out to create with Nariva: a way for women to travel that honors how much we carry, how much we give, and how much we deserve to receive in return — all while sharing the joy of discovery with each other.

What I Believe

At the heart of every Nariva journey are three simple truths that guide everything I do — from choosing a destination to setting a table to welcoming each traveler as if she were a lifelong friend.

1. Travel is Self-Care, Not Escape

We don’t need to run away from our lives — we need space to return to ourselves. That’s what these trips are about: not ticking off lists, but filling up again. Restoring energy. Reclaiming joy. Feeling good in our own skin.

2. We Deserve the Journey

There are 52 weekends in a year. Taking just one weekend for yourself isn’t selfish or indulgent. It’s  an essential act of self-respect and renewal.

You deserve that time. No excuses. No guilt. It’s your time to breathe, explore and rediscover what lights you up.

3. Joy is Best Shared — Especially Around a Table

Some of the most lasting, meaningful memories are made when we gather around good food, laughter, and stories. Connection deepens over shared meals and moments, making the journey richer and more joyful.

What I Want to Take With Me

“Once I realized the only thing I’ll take with me is what I’ve lived,
I began to live what I want to take with me.”

That line stays with me — in life and in travel.

It’s a reminder that the memories we create now are what remain. That we get to choose presence over pressure. Wonder over obligation. Experience over expectation.

And that’s what I want for the women who travel with me — to live the moments they want to carry with them.

How I Craft a Journey

Every Nariva trip is curated with deep intention. I start with a place that speaks to me — not just visually, but emotionally. Cities and towns with soul. With flavor. With something worth pausing for.

I think about how each day will feel: the rhythm of movement and stillness, the delight of discovery balanced with time to savor. I consider the meals, the lighting, the textures of the places we stay. I imagine the flow of conversation, the laughter-filled breaks, the surprise moments of beauty.

I craft the trip I would want to take — and then fine-tune every detail so you don’t have to think about a thing.

Because when you finally get away, it should feel like exhaling into yourself.

Come With Me

If you’re longing for more than a vacation — if you want beauty, connection, and depth woven into your time away — you’re who I plan for.

You’ve done enough holding it all together.

Now it’s your turn to be held — by a place, by a group of women, by the rhythm of slow, soulful travel.

She goes. You go.

Let’s go.
